Stupid people and their due dates

What is with a million people coming out of the woodwork this week and sending me nastily written reminder e-mails that certain things are due on such-and-such a date?  I ALREADY KNOW!  And I have it written down in my planner, and I’m going to get it to you by the due date!  For future reference, if you give me a due date, don’t get mad at me if I turn it in on time, just because everyone else turns things in 14 years early.  If you want it earlier, make the due date earlier!
